Autumn by Sierra Dean

I really liked this book. I thought it was going to be about werewolves, but no. I wasn't expecting it to be magic, either. which is crazy. I should read the description before i get a book. but anyways, this is a series I want to continue reading. and i know that doesnt happen very often, but I want there to be another book out that I can grab :P Lou and Cooper are kind of star crossed lovers, but in a Romeo and Juliet kind of way. its their families fighting, not them. it doesn't have all the suicide at the end, though. which is good. it just has memories being taken with magical powers.. which was a surprise. I wasn't aware that there was going to be actual magic in this book, thought there was going to be talk of magic only. haha. but anyways. this is a new book. thanks netgalley.com for letting me read it, and if you see this book you should definitely check it out! Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

I am absolutely in love with this book. What could be better than zombies? Nothing! Nothing at all. I haven't read very many books with the zombie as the main character, or books where the zombies actually become people again, so this is totally unique. And it's definitely my new favourite book. I'm not going to lie, I only read this book because I saw the movie and absolutely loved it, but I'm sure I would've found this book eventually.
Because I already knew what was going to happen, most of this book wasn't very shocking. Which is alright by me. There was, however, big chunks of this book that the movie left out. Which I loved. It was like I was rediscovering the movie and I loved every moment of it. As you can tell, It took me less than a full day to read the whole book. And that's how you know it was amazing. If you haven't read this book yet, I definitely think you should. Like, go find a copy somewhere, and read it. Right now. Like right now, right now. It's amazing and I don't know how anyone could hate a single part of it. And watch the movie too, because it's pretty awesome!

Poison by Chris Wooding

I think the cover on this book made my buy it more than anything, I wasn't too sure what it was about when I bought it, but I'm glad I did. Plus, $3 is always a good price for a book. Anyways. This book was kind of like inception. A story inside a story, and that was pretty awesome. You don't usually read books like that. If you couldn't tell from the four star rating, this book was pretty good. It would've been five, but it was a little choppy and hard to read. A good story though. It kept my short attention span, and I'm sure it could keep yours. You don't usually read books with fairy spelt phaerie, and I thought that was a little much. Not only that, daemon. Is that demon? Or something totally different? It was full of action, and it definitely confused me a couple times there. Not only that, though, but everyone was a dick! Makes me not want to meet fairies, or 'phaeries' at all! I liked the ending. It was interesting. The beginning was a little boring, but there always has to be an intro, right? Anyways. I'm not too sure on what else to say about this book, so I'm just going to leave it at that. It was a good book. You should definitely read it. Sorry for the crappy short review, I'm a little rusty! haha. It'll come back to me, eventually. Thanks for reading! :P

Rapture by Lauren Kate

Ugh. Anyone else think that Daniel was a total dick in this one? I'm tired of him. He's boring and he just bitches about the same things over and over again. That being said, this book wasn't too bad. It definitely wasn't the first couple ones though. Those were awesome, this one was.. worse than I thought it'd be, but maybe that's because I hadn't read the series in a while. I just, I don't know. I had higher expectations for this book and it kind of fell through. I mean don't get me wrong. It was still pretty good. The ending kind of confused me, but whatever. It was a good ending, and I'm glad it's finally over. In a good way.
There's always an angel vs. demons fight. I mean, I guess there has to be if there's going to be a book about angels, right? I just, I don't know. It wasn't as 'epic' as I was hoping it'd be. It was over too quickly, and it was unsatisfying. I wish there would've been a better storyline, I mean, it was good and all but I'm tired of the whole 'hide and seek around the world' thing. These books are always a hide and seek kind of thing, and it gets boring after a while. Anyways. Read this book. It's the last in the series, and even though it wasn't what I wanted it to be, it could be what you wanted it to be. So,
read it anyways. That's all I'm going to say.

Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin

I wasn't really sure if I was going to like this book when I first bought it. I mean, the only reason I bought it was because it was $3 on amazon, and then when I went to value village it was like $3 there too. So I just bought it at Value Village because I love picking up books there. They're like brand new most of the time! Anyways. This book is about a girl named Elizabeth, or Liz, as she likes to be called, and she's been in a car accident and died. She doesn't understand where she is or what's happened, like most people would, I'm assuming. And she's really confused and scared about it. She goes through that whole depressing stage, wanting to go back to her life, and everything works out like it should. Well, almost. I'm not going to say anymore about it. I really liked this book. I haven't read anything like it before, and I'm not sure I will read anything like it for a long time. Which is awesome. If you haven't read this book yet, I definitely recommend you should. It's written younger than I usually like books to be, like how she acts like a child, but it makes sense in the end.

X-Men by Kristine Kathryn Rusch

I absolutely had to read this. Although, I'm not sure if I read this exact book, because I read the adult novelization, and all I could find on here was the children's novelization with pictures.. Anyways. I would have put it at five stars, but for the first half of the book the editing was shit. And this might be because I'm a total X-Men nerd, but they messed up Rogue's name, Marie, they put it as Mary. And then half way through the chapter they changed it to Marie, and then half way through the next chapter they changed it to Rogue. Crazy, right? Anyways. A funny thing in this book was how they didn't get the locations in Canada right. Apparently, where Logan was, was Alberta, British Columbia, Canada. And that was the exact location. Apparently he was split between two provinces, and he wasn't in any kind of city at all.. Which is weird. I posted a picture of it on my facebook and people thought it was funny.  But aside from those things, and a couple of the events were mixed up, this was a great book. Short, but it had the movie almost down pact. It was like I was watching the movie all over again. Definitely read it if you like movie novelization books, and if you don't, well you can always read it for fun, like I did. (: Thanks for reading!

Princess Academy by Shannon Hale

First thing first, I'd like to express how much I did not like this book. I don't know what it is that first ticked me off about it. Maybe it was the way it was written, maybe it was just the whole subject of the book, I don't know. What I do know, is that I definitely did not like this book. It was boring. It was hard to read, and I ended up skimming most of it until I was finally finished. Ugh Just Ugh. It was so dumb. I don't like it at all, and I'm dreading the next one. Lol. Don't ask why I'm still going to read the rest of the series, I just am. It's a thing that happens a lot. I DON'T LIKE IT! The characters were boring, the events that happened in the book weren't events at all, just little girls crying and bitching about the teachers. Ugh. And what was the point of this whole book? To get married? Why go to school to get married when you can just do whatever the hell you want and get married anyways. DUMB. That's all I'm going to write about this because if I write anymore I'm just going to bitch and whine. :D Also, I don't think I've ever had a one star book on my blog before! haha.

Balthazar by Claudia Gray

5 of 5 stars falseBalthazar (Evernight, #5)I really liked this book. I can never remember that last book in the series though, but eventually it comes back. Although I couldn't remember most of the people in this book, I still remembered some of them. Like Balthazar. Because, I mean, come on. Who forgets Balthazar. He's tall dark and handsome. But anyways. This book was full of action, and also full of weird things happening. Like Skye is able to see ghosts, and like in this other book I read, she can see their deaths. Her powers grow stronger when she's bitten by a vampire, and by the end she can talk to them. I hope that's not a spoiler. I mean, it's not like I'm telling you who she talks to and why, right? haha. :P But anyways. I was sure her 'best friend' Madison was going to help her at some point in this book, but I was wrong. I guess friendships that form in a day don't last in books. Idk. It's weird. lol. I was hoping there were going to be more people from the rest of the series, but nope. not even a little bit. just some mentioning, but that was fine with me. I definitely recommend you read this. But definitely read the other one's first if you haven't already! :D

Falling Under by Gwen Hayes

I'm really not sure what to say about this book. I couldn't really get into it at the beginning, and i still wasn't totally into it at the end.. I mean the ending was pretty good, although when I say the ending, I mean the chapter before the ending.. I wasn't a big fan of the actual ending. I wasn't sure what was happening when the perspective's changed, but I figured it out soon enough. Like I said, I wasn't always there. I don't know what it was about this book, but It kind of seemed like I was only half there when reading it.. I dunno. It was weird. Demon's are always an interesting subject, but for most of this book I thought it was about faries.. which can't be good. It's weird. I don't get it. But whatever. It's an alright book. Read it if you want. I wouldn't like. force you to read it like some other books, but I can still say read it if you want.

Fateful by Claudia Gray

This is my new favourite book. I mean, I use that term loosely, but this book really is awesome. I've never actually read a book about the titanic, much less the titanic with werewolves. Which is great. It kept me plugged in the whole time, and I couldn't put it down. I was kind of curious about the sister though, why they brought her up, but by the end I realized it was foreshadowing. Sad foreshadowing. Idk. I really liked this book, and you should definitely read it if you haven't already. I absolutely loved the idea of the titanic, even though I barely knew anything about it, and hadn't seen the movie.. which is a little crazy. haha. I mean who hasn't seen the titanic? I'll have to get around to it one of these days. :P Sorry for the short review, and sorry I haven't been reviewing lately! Kind of needed a break from reading for a while. :P

My Blood Approves by Amanda Hocking

I actually really liked this book. It's probably one of the only times i'll say I liked the insta-love. Which is horrible, I know. I've been there before. It's not a good time when insta-love takes over, but I have to say. Here, it worked. In other books, it definitely doesn't work. This book was about a girl who meets this guy (who turns out to be a vampire with a vampire family) and findss out that his 'brother' is made for her. Now I don't really know the whole part about it, it's been a while since I read the book and I start to forget things, sorry! haha. this is why I can't put these off. But anyways. She falls in love with the guy who she's supposed to be with's brother, which is crazy or something I guess. Everyone in the book made a big scene about it. And then it's the decision she has to make (to be a vampire or not to be a vampire ;D)  But anyways. I still liked it. You should definitely read it. :P  Sorry it's so short!

The Awakening by L.J. Smith

Ugh. I don't even know why I read this book. Maybe because I watched the tv show once or twice and thought, hey, I should check these books out! Wow. I kind of regret it now. I dunno. I wasn't really into this book. I mean, I've got more of the books, and I'm probably going to read it just for the hell of it, but I'm not totally sure if I'm going to like it. It was alright. I couldn't really get into it though, and found myself skimming most of the book. The worst part? The insta-love. Ugh, why. It was like three days tops of hanging out and you were like. Oh Stefen. I love you. And then for the rest of the book up until the end you were like. WHY WON'T HE LOVE ME WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME UGH UGH I HATE THIS UGH. Just stop it. You're dramatic. I want to smack you. Just so you know. I don't know why those other dramatic girls put up with your rants but oh wait because they all did it too. Just ugh. I don't like it.
I've literally seen the tv show like three times. I thought the books would be better than that, because that's usually how it works. But nope. definitely not with this one.. lol. Read it if you dare. I've heard awesome things about these books, but I really don't think they delivered. Just so you know. It's just a little warning. It's boring. hahah.

A Need So Beautiful by Suzanne Young

I'm going to be totally honest here. I thought this was going to be a sex book. And because of that, I was a little unsure if I should read it. Lucky for me, I read up on it again before actually reading it. Yay. It wasn't a sex book. I'm happy about that. Those kind of make me uncomfortable, because this one time I saw like an 80 year old women in the sex book section of a book store and I was like. Uhh. Kay. And then I left. But anyways. Back to the review.
I literally read this whole book in one sitting. It was awesome! I definitely couldn't put it down, and I could not pull myself out of this book. I mean. Foster care, Ditched as a child, and Confusing things are happening? I love books like that. I especially liked this book because even though it jumped right into the story like we were supposed to know the characters already, I dunno. It just kind of worked this time. Usually I'm totally lost but in this book, it just sucked me in even more. Which is awesome. I'm going to read the other one for sure. Angels aren't one of my favourite subjects. Maybe because I'm not into that whole bible thing. I mean, sure, it's interesting, but I always seem to get a little bored with the whole idea. Definitely not with this book. It's a whole other take on the angels and demons thing. They're actually helping people in this book, instead of just standing back and watching things go down the drain. It might be hard and they are eventually forgotten, but at least they're making a difference.
You should definitely check out this book if you haven't already! :D

Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles

I'm starting to think I have a new favourite author. I read two of Simone Elkeles' books in a row, both from different series, and totally loved them. Lets hope I didn't just jynx that, because seriously. These books are awesome. It's a nice refreshing breath from all the paranormal romance I've been reading lately. It's cute. There's always a huge problem, like in this book Caleb had been in jail for a year for hitting Maggie with his truck. Only, There's always a huge twist that you don't expect, and It definitely gets me every time.
I wasn't really sure if I would like this book, mostly because It'd been on my reading list for so long and I'd forgotten what it was even about. Which is insane. I should really read stuff like this more often. And also. WHY HAVEN'T MORE PEOPLE TOLD ME TO READ THESE BOOKS!? they're pretty awesome! If you haven't read this book I definitely recommend it. Sorry for this weird review. I kind of am a little rusty from this week off of book reviews. bahah. dumb, I know. :P I'll get back into it! <3

The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith

This book, oh my god. I really didn't know what it was going to be about when I started. It was one of those, oh this sounds cute I guess I'll read it, kind of deals. It kind of felt like I should know a little more about the characters at first, but as the book progressed that feeling went away. I learned everything I needed to learn about them pretty quickly. I mean, sure. There were a few characters I don't know anything about at all, but that's it. And that's totally fine by me. I was good with just knowing about Hadley and Oliver. Which, by the way, I love their names. They're so cute together. And although it might've just been a summer thing, I'm glad they got together. I'd love to know a guy like Oliver. Who knows where their relationship would go from the super cute ending of that book.
I wasn't sure I was going to like Hadley at the beginning, but that changed pretty quickly. I mean, sure. She's just another regular teenage girl who's going to her father's wedding. And I have to admit, I haven't read a book where two people meet at an airport, go to the same place, and still manage to hang out a lot. I mean, if I were her, I'd be a little weirded out if someone just started following me around and carrying my stuff for me. I mean, sure, he's cute, and her age, but it would still be a little weird for me.  I dunno. This book was adorable. If you haven't read it yet I definitely recommend it! <3

Where She Went by Gayle Forman

Have I mentioned before how much I love Adam Wilde? I love him so much. He's got to be one of my favourite characters. And a whole book from his p.o.v? I'm in heaven. Mia's a lucky girl to be dating a rock star who's as cool as he is. Wish I knew someone like him, and if I did I would never leave him alone. Ever. I don't care if he's dating someone. I would definitely just hang out with him all the time. So, any guys like this reading this? Come chill with me some time. It'll be great. ;D
I love this series. I love this book. I might not like Mia sometimes, like when she tricked me into believing she really hated Adam, but I've always loved Adam in this. I dunno what it is about him. He just seems like someone you could talk to for hours without it being awkward. I dunno. I've got a total book crush. I don't really know what to write about this. I'm sad it's over. I really wish there was another book to read, but at the same time I don't. She pretty much covered everything that needed to be covered in these two short books, and that's the way I like it. Short and sweet. <3
If you haven't read this series yet, I definitely recommend it! It's cute, and although there's tragedy, it seems to work itself out by the end. People get over things. People get back together. I love it.

Tithe by Holly Black

I love Holly Black. I bought one of her short story books a long time ago, and absolutely loved it. When I saw that she had her own YA series, I was like. Oh my god. I have to read this. And so I did. And you know what? It's was great. I loved it. The characters were awesome, and they reminded me of a couple of my friends, and I loved that. It's not the usual too old for this or too young for that sort of thing that YA usually has. Also, I haven't actually read a book about changelings before, so that was pretty cool. This book is about a girl who moves around a lot and is able to do what she wants because her mom is in a band and just lets her do whatever she wants all the time. Might I say, like me. Only my dad works for a newspaper so. Lol. That's where it's different. But anyways, she moves back into her grandma's house with her mom, and meets her old 'friends'. They hook up, some stuff happens, and bam. She's gone from an almost normal with a little weird back story, so a changeling pixie. I'm definitely going to read the next one asap. :D If you haven't read this yet I definitely recommend it! <3

The Angel Experiment by James Patterson

Pfft. I didn't think Max was a boy for like half of the book. That never happened at all.. Okay. Lets get down to business. I honestly don't know what the hype about this book was. I didn't really like it. I mean, it was a good story, just.. I dunno. Kind of boring. I couldn't really get into it. It didn't help that my kobo would randomly skip pages and glitch out in the middle of it either, but whatever. It happens.
Really? There was a character based on farts? His name was even the 'Gasman'. Ugh. What am I ten? Farts are so hilarious. Especially when there's a character and that's all he does. Ugh. Again. I dunno. It was kind of stupid. The characters didn't really seem like fully complete characters.. Don't ask. I dunno. It's just what it seemed like to me. It's like when writers are writing what they think, when they think of it. No full plot, and they only have one scene in mind. When they have to write around that one scene. Ugh. Just Ugh. I don't know what else to say besides. I don't like this book! I have to say it was a good story though, just. I dunno. I don't like it. lol.  I know so many people that were like. You have got to read this book. It's so awesome. And more than once they told me that I need to read the whole series. This book is not for me. Read it if you want to.

Thirst No. 3: The Eternal Dawn by Christopher Pike

I really wasn't expecting that ending. This book was so awesome. I always start series and don't finish them all at one time, and that really bugs me. I mean, I have the books, but I have so many other books that I need to read that I totally forget about them. I started this series last year when I moved to a new town (and might I say a new library) and only read the first two, because that's all they had. I finally find the last two, and I'm still not done. There's still another book. Holy crap. And another thing? These books never slow down. It's like non-stop action, and I'm in love with them.

I couldn't really remember what happened in the last book, but in the middle of the book it all caught up with me. I mean, I started to remember when I was reading it, but I couldn't remember the whole thing until the book told me what happened. Which usually I don't like, but it was a blessing in this book. lol. If that makes sense. I love that Sita is tracking her family. I mean it would be weird that you could see your family grow before your eyes, but when you're an insanely old vampire, i mean, what else do you have to do? I was really confused on the whole, my daughter is dead and didn't have any kids, but I am still tracking my extra great grandchildren.. But whatever. It was a great book. If you haven't read this book read it, and if you haven't even started this series, I definitely recommend it! :D

Black Dawn by Rachel Caine

Lets be honest here. It was a good book. It's just, these books are turning into the exact same thing every time, and I'm getting a little bored. They are all. Oh, everything's fine and it's been a couple days since the last book. And then something bad happens, and they have to figure out something to do about it. Their first plan doesn't work, someone almost dies, and then their second plan works and everything's almost back to normal. EVERY SINGLE BOOK IS LIKE THAT. I'm getting really tired of it, no matter how much I love this series. It's great, it really is. It just needs something different so I don't start hating it. Please! Please change the plot a little bit. I'm so close to not liking it anymore and it's such a shame.
I don't really know what else to say. The ending was cute. I'm happy about that. Just. I dunno. Maybe I'm getting tired of this series. Which sucks. It's really awesome. I hope the next one is different. I hope something new and exciting comes into the series that hasn't been here before. I mean, sure. The last one was pretty cool. The Draug's invading the town. I liked it. But this? This book was all fighting it, and for some reason it wasn't very interesting. I dunno. I found myself skimming some parts without meaning to.. So. Yeah. I dunno. It was good. That's all I have to say about that.

Kisses From Hell by Kristin Cast

I'm not really a big fan of short stories, because they're usually rushed and crammed full of details that no one needs to know. That's only the case for a couple of these stories, though. They were good. I didn't really like all of them, and I know that they were supposed to be short and sweet, but I dunno. Some of them were just missing something. It's a little hard to explain, haha. I honestly wish that some of the authors in this book would just start fresh, instead of writing about a series that has gone on forever. And I mean, there was really only one person who didn't write about a series. Kristen Cast. I was not expecting that. I loved her story. I wish she would write her own series, without her mom. I love her writing style and her ideas, and she should just show those off by herself instead of working with other people.
There are a couple of stories in this book that I just blew through, and that's not always a good thing. A couple of these stories were really boring. It was like they were just adding onto an already too long series.. Which I definitely did not like. I mean, sure. Sometimes you don't want series' to end. I know the feeling. But there are just some books that you wish could be over and done with, and adding a bunch of short stories onto it does not make me feel any better about it. Just come up with something else and stop dragging it on maybe? haha.
Don't get me wrong, I did like this book. It was good and I liked all of the authors in it. It was great. Just had to say something about those couple stories that really bugged me. <3

Finale by Becca Fitzpatrick

Why! Why does it have to be over! I really wish I would've read this slower. Damn. It would have lasted longer. I'm really torn up about this being over, I really am. This is definitely one of my favourite series' and I never wanted it to end. But hey, they have to end sometime, right? If they don't they just go on and on and on.. and then before you know it you're resenting even starting it. *cough* HoN *cough*... Pshh. What? I didn't say anything.
I'm really happy with that ending. None of the characters changed drastically, but they still changed. It was a good kind of change. Also? If you haven't noticed yet I've got a big book crush on patch. He's really awesome. haha. But yeah. I really didn't want it to be over.
Nora's discovered a lot about herself through these three books, and I love how she did it. I might not have loved the beginning of the third book, but I can say I am still head over heels for the series itself. I know that sounds cheesy, but how else can I explain it? I'll probably re-read the series sometime in the future. It was the first fallen angel series I've ever read, and probably my favourite. I love Becca Fitzpatrick for this series alone, and I hope she more great books that I can fall in love with. (: I don't really know what else to say. Read this series if you haven't already, dammit! bahah. <3

The Reckoning by Kelley Armstrong

Dammit. I was half done this review and then I accidentally hit back. ): Boooo. Anyways. Lets get going on this second try.

I'm going to be honest here, I didn't really like this book. It was pretty boring, and I'm getting tired of the whole running away from everything plot. I mean, it seems like every book is getting worse, and the group is just running away more and more. Running away from home. Running away from a foster home. Running away from an asylum. Running away from doctors. Running away from this and that and the other thing. It gets boring. I mean, sure, they're on the run. They have to move eventually. But basically the whole book is running from place to place. And also? I don't know anyone who acts anything like any of these characters. Not at all. Even the spoiled brat. Just ugh. I'm so done with this series.
Chloe is the same as she always has been. A boring, flat, stuttering character. Sure, she has cool powers, and she can make zombies. But she's spineless. She hides behind everyone, and she is always crying. Ugh. Just stop. I'm done with you. And also. Stop complaining about everything.
Tori-Tory? I dunno. She's a spoiled brat. She's annoying, and I literally cannot imagine being around her in real life without punching her face right off. Just ugh. I'm sick of her.
Simon is annoying too. He just sits around being a 'pretty boy' as he was described, and complaining about everything while blaming everyone else for his problems. I'm done.
And Derick is horrible. No one treats other people the way he does, and that's why he's alone. Sure, he's got Simon, but if I were him I wouldn't put up with his crap. Just stop. So what, you're a werewolf. You're also a huge a-hole to everyone. I'm done with you.
I think those were all of the characters.
Read this book if you want, I'm sure there are people out there somewhere who like it. But honestly? Sometimes people need to hear the brutal truth. And there should've been a character in this book to tell those guys off.

Glass by Ellen Hopkins

First words out of my mouth when I'm finished reading this: "Holy f*ck. What the hell." I'm not even kidding right now. This book took me on an emotional roller coaster, and I was sad when it finally ended. I swear, it even made me have a little panic attack when there were cops involved. I'm really hoping I can find the last one at some thrift store again, because that was awesome. I got both of the books in this series in one day, for like $5. Which is awesome. But enough about shopping.
I can't believe this book. How could it do this too me. I feel like I should be an emotional wreck right now, and I mean. This book must have been better than I thought, which is insane. It was already so awesome. The writing style changed a little from 'Crank' to this one, you could tell it wasn't based on whatever it was based on still, but I loved every bit of it. I mean, how could you not? It was exciting. Sure, lots and lots of drugs, but who cares. This is another book about meth. It's supposed to have meth in it. It's awesome. I am in love with Ellen Hopkins because of these books. I can't wait to read more. I know I just finished it, but I really don't know how to write a review that doesn't spoil anything. Have I said awesome enough? :P Anyways. I honestly don't know how anyone could hate these books, and I've seen a lot of reviews claiming that they did. I mean sure, the writing's a little hard to get used to at first, but you do get used to it if you give it a chance. <3 If you haven't read this book yet, I definitely want to say that you cannot read another book unless it's 'Crank'. And then you can't read another book after that, unless it's this one. That's just how awesome it is. (: So. I'll stop here. But seriously! Do it up. It's an awesome book, and it's an awesome series. :D

Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia

I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I first started this book. And by that, I mean I didn't even read the description. This was more one of those books that everyone else was reading, so I thought I'd take a shot at it. And what did I find? It was awesome. I love when the main character is a guy. It's refreshing, and you don't really see it that often lately. Which is crazy, I mean. I know guys in small towns don't read, but I'm sure there are guys that read in city's.
Anyways. Magic is always an interesting topic to write a book on, and I don't think I've read any two books that are alike about it. Unless they're in a series, of course. I was surprised at the length of this book, thought it would get a little boring, but apparently it didn't.
I liked the characters. They were relateable, especially from someone who is living in a small town right now. They really did seem like the people around me, which, might I say, isn't always a good thing. The bitchy girls are still bitchy, no matter where you go. Same goes for the jock guys. You'd think TV would've changed them like they do in the cities, but it really doesn't happen like that. Anyways. Like I said, the characters were great. I don't really know what else to say about them. I loved Amma, she was so superstitious and it was awesome. I'm still not sure why she was there, though. Was she like, a caretaker? Like a nanny? Or, since apparently she took care of Ethan's dad when he was young, does that mean she'd been there when Ethan's mom was still alive? I think that's the only part I didn't get. Also I wish Link would be my friend in real life. That would be cool. I love when books are turned into movies just after I've finished reading them. How awesome is that.
